The Indian embassy in Ukraine has issued a journey advisory for Indian nationals planning to return to Ukraine. The embassy has suggested Indians to keep away from any non-essential journey to the war-hit nation.
“In view of the present escalation of hostilities in Ukraine, Indian nationals are suggested to keep away from all non-essential journey to and inside Ukraine. They have to strictly comply with the security and safety tips issued by the Ukrainian authorities and native authorities,” the advisory said.
“Indian nationals are requested to maintain the Embassy knowledgeable concerning the standing of their presence in Ukraine to allow the Embassy to achieve out to them, the place required,” it additional said.
A number of Indian college students who had been pursuing medical programmes in Ukraine returned to India in February-March as Russia and Ukraine engaged within the battle. Many universities in Ukraine have began offline lessons for college students and some Indian college students have flown again to Ukraine as per experiences.
