The valour of Indian troopers shall be highlighted within the nation’s college curriculum to instill amongst college students a “sense of accountability” in direction of the nation, Union Training Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has stated.
Talking at an occasion on Friday, Pradhan stated the tales of gallant deeds and sacrifices of the armed forces shall be included within the curriculum in session with the armed forces.
“To strengthen the sense of ‘accountability in direction of the nation’ from an early age, the Training Ministry in session with the Defence Ministry will work to incorporate the valour of our troopers and India’s veergatha within the final 75 years into the college curriculum and our textbooks,” Pradhan stated, talking within the presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
On the occasion, organised by the Defence Ministry, 25 winners of the ‘Veer Gatha’ contest, which was a part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, amongst college college students had been felicitated.
